Exhibitors Show Early Support for the 2018 JPMA Baby Show


East Coast location will support underserved specialty retail audience

MT. LAUREL, NJ (September 14, 2017) The JPMA Baby Show, a JPMA and Family Media event, reports that nearly 80% of available exhibit space has been contracted for the sophomore event to be held March 20-24, 2018 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. For its second year, the show will bring the successful conference+trade show+consumer format to the east coast, where there is a high concentration of both juvenile products retailers and manufacturer headquarters.  The location also will support targeted growth among international buyers and distributors.   View the current floor map now.

“The JPMA Baby Show is back as the must-attend juvenile products industry event,” says Kelly Mariotti, JPMA executive director. “Exhibitors recognize that the combination of trade and consumer show days is a cost-effective way for companies to reach multiple distribution partners- specialty stores, big box, online retail and service providers- as well as consumers. Only the JPMA Baby Show offers that in the U.S.” Mariotti adds, “Plus, all of the proceeds are invested back into JPMA programs, supporting critical industry infrastructure including our domestic and international standards and regulatory work, the JPMA certification program, baby safety awareness campaigns and government relations. ”

The JPMA Baby Show is the cornerstone of The Baby Show Series, a partnership between JPMA and Family Media, publishers of New York Family magazine and producers of the New York Baby Show. The Series includes the JPMA Baby Show, LA Baby Show (November 4-5, 2017), and New York Baby Show (May 19-20, 2018) and Chicago Baby Show (August 25-26, 2018).

Attendee registration and housing will open in early October.  A curated selection of hotels offering a wide range of services at different price points will be available this year. All education and exhibits will take place at the conveniently located Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The program includes three days of trade show exhibits, dedicated time for education and networking, and the JPMA Industry Party, culminating on Saturday, March 24 with the largest consumer baby show on the East Coast.
