2018 JPMA Baby Show Surpasses 50% Contracted Exhibit Space


Deadline to secure additional $2 per sq. foot discount ends June 30.

MT. LAUREL, NJ (June 28, 2017) The JPMA Baby Show, a JPMA and Family Media event, reports that over half of available exhibit space has been contracted for the sophomore event March 20-24, 2018 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. Now in its second year, the show will bring the successful conference+trade show+consumer format to the east coast, where there is a high concentration of juvenile specialty stores and chain retailer headquarters.

Exhibitors who have contracted their exhibit space by the early bird deadline of Friday, June 30 will receive an additional $2 per square foot discount. For members, that is in addition to the standard $5 and waived technology fee. Booth space will be assigned by starting with the largest size booths followed by a lottery to assign the smaller footprints.

“The JPMA Baby Show is back as the must-attend event juvenile product industry event,” says Kelly Mariotti, JPMA executive director. “Exhibitors recognize that the combination of trade and consumer show days is a cost effective way for companies to have an important, and cost-effective touch point with consumers. Only the JPMA Baby Show offers that in the U.S. Mariotti adds, “My advice is to retain space as early as possible. In addition to the benefit of a significant discounts that expires on Friday, June 30, a number of exhibitors have increased their square footage and we fully expect a sellout show.”

The JPMA Baby Show is the cornerstone of The Baby Show Series, a partnership between JPMA and Family Media, publishers of New York Family magazine and producers of the New York Baby Show. The Series includes the JPMA Baby Show, Chicago Baby Show (August 26-28, 2017), LA Baby Show (November 4-5, 2017), and New York Baby Show (May 19-20, 2018).

All education and exhibits will take place at the conveniently located Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The program includes three days of trade show exhibits, dedicated time for education and networking, and the JPMA Industry Party, culminating on Saturday, March 24 with the largest consumer baby show on the East Coast.
